After a hard-fought campaign, I was delighted to be elected today as the new Councillor for Greenhill Ward, on Canterbury City Council. The seat has been held by UKIP and an Independent in recent years, so I'm pleased to gain it for the Conservatives in what was a challenging set of local election results nationally.
I am looking forward to working hard for Greenhill's residents, improving the local area and delivering on the pledges I have made. In partnership with my Conservative colleagues on the Council, we are focussed on continuing the positive changes we have made in Herne Bay and the Canterbury district more generally, ensuring that our wonderful part of the country is an even better place to live.
